The Adnavance mission is to de-centralize the $3.5B worldwide molecular diagnostic testing market and enable any laboratory to perform these medically important tests.
We are an early-stage developer of direct detection molecular diagnostic tests. The company’s patented and ultra-sensitive metalized-DNA (M-DNA™) technology may eliminate the need for amplification for a large number of these tests. This technology provides many significant advantages over existing methods, including ease of use, time to result and cost. The platform is simple and inexpensive and is expected to receive FDA approval for use by any laboratory.
In the United States, only 10% of hospital laboratories and 30% of independent laboratories are licensed to perform molecular tests. The Adnavance platform will de-centralize this market and provide rapid turnaround of medically important tests. Our initial M-DNA™ diagnostic product will detect MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureus) and we expect to launch that product as early as 2010 targeting sales in the US, Canada and Europe.
